Blackpool pigeon show at the 'Winter Gardens' is a world famous racing pigeon/show racer show. This event draws 30,000 visitors over the weekend. Due to the hard work of AndyLowe [Fancy pigeons] and the forward thinking of the'British Homing World'

committee fancy and flying pigeons were added to the show in January 2007.

  I was very proud to be asked to be one of the first fancy pigeon judges of my chosen breed which is English Modenas.

  This year, 2008 we are most fortunate to have cash money specials across the Modena section and if this is not enough also an International judge in Mr. Rick Barker of California U.S.A. Rick is in my opinion the most experienced International Modena Judge in the world and has earned this by his many visits to shows around the globe. I am sure Rick will enjoy the whole Blackpool experience.

  He will be travelling with Willi Richert another well known world Modena Man who himself hosts the International Modena club Young Bird show at his ranch in Kansas U.S.A.
